A Gorgeous Pensacola Beach Sunset Senior Portrait Session

When it comes to sunset beach sessions, Laila's senior portrait session in Pensacola exceeded all my expectations! You really can't beat Pensacola for beach portraits. It has that beautiful blue water and a multitude of beautiful locations to choose from. We started in Fort Pickens with its beautiful old archways and brick walls, and then made our way to the beach for a gorgeous golden sunset. Laila and her sweet momma "knocked it out of the park" when it came to selecting the perfect outfits. The long dresses added fantastic movement and dimension to her photos and the beautiful colors went with Laila's skin tone and the backdrops beautifully.

As a senior at Tate High School, this classy and charming young lady has a big, beautiful smile that can light up any room. She enjoys cheerleading and loves hanging out on the beach, making our session all the more enjoyable. With dreams of going to esthetician school next year, this girl has a plan, and it was wonderful to be able to capture images of such a sweet season!

Laila was incredibly laid back and comfortable in front of the camera, which made my job as her photographer a breeze. Her willingness to trust me, even when it involved a bit of a trek through the sand to reach just the right light, definitely paid off. Neither heat or not stickers stopped us from getting the perfect shots! We ended our session on the beach and were treated to a stunning sunset that provided such a beautiful backdrop for her portraits.

Initially, Laila was a little unsure about stepping into the water, but with a little gentle (or not so gentle) urging from her mom, she went for it and I'm so glad she did! The combination of the sunset and the gorgeous Pensacola Beach water created some truly magical shots.
