Allison's Downtown Fairhope, AL Senior Portrait Session

Senior year is such an exciting time, and I had the pleasure of capturing this special moment for Allison, a soon-to-be graduate of Alma Bryant High School. Allison is not only a talented volleyball player but also a young woman with big dreams. She plans to continue playing volleyball in college while pursuing a career as an ultrasound technician.

For her senior portrait session, Allison and her mom had their hearts set on downtown Fairhope, and I couldn’t have agreed more. The charming streets, colorful flowers, and scenic waterfront make it the perfect backdrop for capturing fun and colorful senior portraits. What we didn’t realize when we scheduled her session was that it would fall during the annual Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival! However, rather than letting the crowd deter us, we embraced the lively atmosphere and had such a good time!

We spent the afternoon weaving through the festival booths, finding the best little nooks and picturesque spots that make downtown Fairhope so special. Allison was an absolute natural in front of the camera, effortlessly switching between casual and elegant looks. While she’s undoubtedly athletic, she also enjoys dressing up, and her outfits reflect her fun and bubbly personality. As the sun began to set, we made our way to the beach to wrap up her session. The wind was pretty fierce, but we simply worked with it and got some great shots.
