Shelby's Picture Perfect Dauphin Island Senior Portrait Session

Updated: Mar 29

Meet Ms. Shelby, a soon-to-be graduate of J.M. Tate High School! With her senior year in full swing, Shelby recently took some time to celebrate this exciting milestone with a portrait session on the beaches of Dauphin Island. I spent the day with Shelby and her mom as we explored the island, looking for the perfect light!

Dauphin Island has everything for a great senior session—beaches, boardwalks, and gorgeous views. The mix of natural scenery and relaxed vibes made it an awesome spot for Shelby’s portraits. Plus, the sunset lighting was perfect. The sun was shining, it was warm, and a breeze was blowing. Absolutely perfect weather for senior portraits! Dauphin Island always provides opportunities for such a great variety of images. From boardwalks to forests to beaches, there's always somewhere different to shoot, and no two galleries are ever exactly alike.

One of the best parts of Shelby’s session? Hanging out with her mom. They had a blast, making the whole experience even more fun. Whether they were laughing between shots or taking in the views, it was a great memory in the making.

After graduation, Shelby has her sights set on Pensacola State College, where she plans to study to become an ultrasound technician. Shelby’s senior portraits are the perfect way to capture this exciting time in her life. She’s got a bright future ahead, and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!
